b-EYE-cycle frames
After traveling from Chicago to Vancouver on my bicycle, I know the importance of keeping a stock of bicycle parts. But the problem was that I had too many just taking up space in the basement and I knew they would never be used on my current bicycle. So like any other piece of soon to be trash that I get my hands on, I turned these parts into a pair of frames.
The front of the frame was made from the main drivetrain and the temples were hammered safety break levers. I soldered on a pair of nosepads for this pair as the steel in the fronts made these fairly heavy. The lenses are from a piece of Plexiglas that I've been storing. I just cut the lenses to fit the natural opening of the holes in the drivetrain.
And yes, these frames are "Schwinn Approved".
